- dispers.mcd.
Find the index of refraction for BK7 as a function of
wavelength and calculate the Abbe number.
- prob1_12.mcd.
Find intersection of ray at a plane glass interface
and the direction of refraction into the glass medium.
- chap2_1.mcd.
Calculate an optical system matrix.
The example is the triplet lens in Figure 2.1.
This file is the same as Figure 2.7.
- prob2_12.mcd.
Find a variety of geometrical-optics properties of
a thick lens, including focal length, back-focal-distance,
edge thickness, principal planes, and hiatus.
