ECE 595 Computer Vision Assignment 1
- Create an image using Matlab of a 3D object (like the helix
shown in class) with a orthographic projection of the object onto a
plane shown in the same image. In Matlab you should be able to rotate
the scene and superimpose the project with the view of the original
object.
- Divide into teams and construct three camera calibration boards
each about 3 ft square with a checkerboard or other suitable pattern.
Use a thick foam board to minimize warping.
There should be about 8-16 squares (or other patterns) per side or
64-256 calibation points per board. You will be writing Matlab code to
find these calibration points in images.
