When you try to compile a project using pin IRDA_TXD, the Quartus fitter reports a pin conflict. This is resolved by choosing Assignments – Device to get the following dialog:
Press the button labelled Device and Pin Options
,
and then the tab Dual-Purpose Pins
to get the
following screen.
The conflict pin is nCEO
. Select the Value to get a
drop-down box and then choose “Use as regular
I/O
”. The final result is shown below. The project
should now compile.
